The Northern White Cedar "Affinity" is a fast growing, compact, upright tree that shows good vigor. It grows naturally on wet sites and poorly drained soils and yet will adapt to well drained sandy loams. The A+2's average 7 inches and range from 5 to 10 inches in length.
Reaching heights of up to 78 feet, the Northern White Cedar Affinity is a multiple use plant intended for use in field and farmestead windbreaks and as a screen or border planting in recreation or urban development. It has been found to be a home to 84 wildlife species during the various stages of development. This improved White Cedar was released by the Natural Resources Conservation Service of the U.S.D.A.
